Seaside crushes Tillamook, 58-25

Seaside's Alexander Teubner makes like a Seagull, flying in to block a Tillamook kick.

TILLAMOOK — One week after their loss to Banks, the Seaside Gulls were back in usual form Friday at Tillamook, running and scoring at will in their final road game of the season for a 58-25 Cowapa League football win over the Cheesemakers.

Seaside’s Alexander Teubner rushed for 275 yards and three touchdowns on just 16 carries, scoring on runs of four, 54 and 85 yards in the first quarter.

Duncan Thompson added a 19-yard TD run in the second quarter, and the Gulls were successful on two-point conversions after each score for a 32-12 halftime lead.

Seaside has a bye before hosting a state playoff game Nov. 2 or 3.
