The Banks Braves beat La Grande (25-21, 25-14) in the final match of the annual Seaside Tournament, Saturday at Seaside High School.

Astoria went undefeated in pool play, then advancing to the semifinal round of the championship bracket.

The Fishermen won three matches in pool play, over Molalla (25-13, 25-17); Rainier (25-17, 25-22); and Stayton (25-21, 25-16).

Facing Corbett in the championship bracket, Astoria topped the Cards in three games, 20-25, 25-19, 25-12.

Banks was able to stop the Lady Fish in the semifinals, 25-20, 25-11.

Rainier defeated the host Gulls in the championship bracket, 25-12, 23-25, 15-11.
