Trail’s End Gallery will open a new show during the Gearhart ArtWalk on Saturday, Oct. 5.

The featured artists will be member artists from the Wednesday Watercolor Open Studio group that includes former Palette Puddlers.

Artists include Sue Bish, Linda Gebhart, Gheri Fouts, Jane McGeehan and Mary Ann Gantenbein.

A reception in their honor will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Works by members will be shown around the gallery which is located at 656 A St. in Gearhart, one block south of Pacific Way.

Trail’s End Gallery is the oldest gallery along the North Coast. It began as a schoolhouse in the early 1900s; in the 1950s it was bought and converted part of it into a gallery, retaining a classroom and office, which is now a shop selling small art objects, prints, and notecards.

Members may join at any level of expertise, taking classes and developing skills, showing their work each month, and participating in the August judged show.
