Six homes in the Sunset Beach area are on the list for the Assistance League of the Columbia Pacific’s seventh annual Home & Chef Tour.

The tour will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 11.

Along with tours throughout the homes, treats will be provided by some of Seaside, Gearhart and Warrenton area restaurants at each residence. They include Astoria Golf & Country Club, Beach Burrito, Maggie’s on the Prom, Twisted Fish, Gearhart Grocery and Tora Sushi.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Holly McHone Jewelers, 1150 Commercial St. in Astoria and at all branch locations for Columbia Bank in Clatsop County. Tickets will also be available for sale at each home on the day of the tour.

To start the tour, turn at Astoria Golf & Country Club and watch for ALCP signs.

The tour, which is the nonprofit volunteer organization’s major fundraiser of the year, benefits the association’s signature program, Operation School Bell. The program provides clothing for Clatsop County schoolchildren. Other association programs include providing duffel bags of comfort items to kids entering the foster care system, assistance in covering athletic fees for schoolchildren and providing prom gowns for high school students through Cinderella’s Closet.

Sponsored by: Lum’s Auto Center, Dr. Miller, Columbia Bank, Columbia Memorial Hospital, Providence Seaside Hospital, Knutsen Insurance, Columbia River Bar Pilots, Bigby Tree Service.
