Two Seaside High School students decided to revive the beloved “Macbeth: The Western” for their Pacifica Project, they and are having a whole lot of fun. Luke Surber, senior, and Ethan Taylor, junior, rallied their fellow theatre enthusiasts and are presenting an entirely student driven production with public performances Thursday, May 14, and Friday, May 15, at 7 p.m.

“Macbeth: The Western” is a satirical comedy based upon Shakespeare’s tragedy of Macbeth. The script was re-written by former Seaside High School students Michelle Peterson and Allison Barker in 2006 as their Pacifica Project. It contains many comedic moments and allusions to other westerns. The play also includes famous soliloquies from the original play. The entire cast is comprised of student volunteers from Seaside High School.

Tickets are $5 at the door; doors open at 6:30 for both performances at Seaside High School.
