Oregon State Elks Association awarded Seaside High School seniors Dylan Meyer, Hayley Rollins and Parker Conrad scholarships  after competing in the Northwest District Competition held in Tillamook on Jan. 5. They competed against students sponsored by St. Helens, Astoria. Tillamook, Newport, Toledo and Florence lodges.

Dylan and Hayley will each receive $1,600 for their second-place finishes; Parker will receive $1,400 for his third-place honor.

Scholarships are awarded for superior scholastic accomplishment , as well as outstanding qualifications of citizenship and leadership, using judging criteria from the Elks National Foundation.
