J&J vaccine

J&J vaccine will be offered May 15 at the Providence Seaside Clinic.

Providence Seaside Clinic is hosting a community clinic Saturday, May 15, offering the J&J vaccine.

After an independent committee reviewed the risks and benefits, the CDC and FDA have determined that the J&J vaccine is safe and effective for preventing COVID-19. They also concluded that the risk of having serious complications due to COVID-19 is more likely than the risk of a rare blood clot from the vaccine.

In an effort to provide more COVID-19 vaccines to the community, Providence Seaside Clinic is hosting a community clinic from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, May 15 at 725 S. Wahanna Road, Suite 230 in Seaside. The clinic is open to anyone (Providence and non-Providence patients) 18 and older and will be providing the Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccine. Appointments are required by calling 503-717-7060, opt. 5.
