Lose weight, improve health

Participants in the Healthy Hearts program.

Healthy Hearts, a community health improvement project with Columbia Pacific CCO Community Advisory Council in Clatsop County, Providence Seaside Hospital and Sunset Empire Park and Recreation District, is changing lives for the better.

This year’s cohort of eight participants report losing weight and inches, improved physical and emotional health, and newfound confidence in being active. In fact, many of the participants will be returning in the next session as peer coaches to help others change their lives as well.

Healthy Hearts is recruiting for the next cohort of participants. To participate in this free program, you will need to be an Oregon Health Plan member with a referral from your health care provider at Providence Seaside Hospital. The group meets regularly to learn about healthy habits, diet, physical activity and emotional health and well-being. To learn more about the program, please contact alixannrichardson@gmail.com.
