Come celebrate the holidays with the traditional Cannon Beach Library Holiday Tea.

This year’s tea and quilt drawing will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in the library, 131 N. Hemlock St.

Community members and visitors are invited to enjoy tea, hot mulled cider, cookies and other homemade treats. Come celebrate the season before attending the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony in Sandpiper Square at 4 p.m.

A drawing for a vintage handmade quilt, on display at the library, also is planned. Tickets for the drawing are available for $1 each or $5 for six tickets. Ticket holders need not be present to win.

The free event is hosted by library members and volunteers to thank the community for its continuous support of the library’s mission.
