Families and businesses can be part of the Pacific Power Parade of Lights Nov. 28.
Participants must submit their registration forms to the Seaside Chamber of Commerce no later than 5 p.m. Nov. 24.
Entries must be lighted or driving a lit float with their sign, banner or plaque in view. Those who have never entered the parade before can visit the chamber’s website for lighting a float or other display. From glow sticks to generators, and from pets and bicycles to motorized wagons, several options are available for both the experienced and new parade participants.
The parade will begin forming at 6 p.m. Nov. 28 at First Avenue and Necanicum Drive. Participants will be given instructions about their unit location by chamber staff members. Parade rules are on the entry form.
The parade ends at the Downing and Broadway pocket park.
Parade entries will be judged for best float or display. Noncommercial winners receive $50, and commercial winners receive a plaque.
