GEARHART — Trail’s End Art Association in Gearhart invites all local 3-D artists to participate in a Holiday Art-Gift Sale Saturday, Nov. 1 and Sunday, Nov. 2. The hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

To submit work for consideration, artists are asked to send digital images of their work to or call Judi Marsh Garrity at 541-419-5869 to present samples of their work for jurying at Trail’s End by or before Oct. 27.

Members and nonmembers, will set up displays of original gift items, such as pottery, fiber arts, jewelry, art glass and tree ornaments, in the studio. The member-artists’ November exhibit will be on display in the gallery.

Work will be selected based on its being the original creation of the artist, of professional quality and appropriate to the venue. Display space will be assigned by the show coordinators. Balance and variety are being sought in the overall display. Trail’s End charges a 30 percent commission on sales by nonmembers and a 15 percent commission on sales by members.

At the end of the weekend, Trail’s End hopes to invite some participants to continue to display and sell their work in the association’s gift shop through November and December.

Garrity, one of the show coordinators, said, “While Trail’s End is traditionally an association of fine artists working in two-dimensional media, we have a lovely and growing gift shop area where we are featuring the 3-D creations that some of our member-artists do, as well. We are seeking more variety in our inventory and hope that artists working in other media will heed the call to show us their work for consideration.”
