The Seaside School District received its first look at the 2023-24 budget on April 18.

Seaside School District Superintendent Susan Penrod and Business Manager Toni Vandershule presented a first look at the 2023-24 budget on April 18, showing about an 9.53% increase in the district’s $27.6 million general fund from last year’s $25.2 million.

“I call it a four-dimensional puzzle that gets put in a book,” Vandershule said.
