5:04 p.m., Beach: A person reported pitching a tent on the beach to camp informed police they were merely drying out their belongings.

March 9

12:46 p.m., 1000 block Third Avenue: A person was arrested for disorderly conduct in the third degree; resisting arrest; interfering with a police officer.

5:22 p.m., The Cove: Police respond to a report of a group of people drinking after work; police advised if they consume too many beers, they could be arrested for drinking and driving.

6:48 p.m., 1200 block Avenue A: A person is arrested and charged with violating a stalking order of protection.

March 10

11:50 p.m., 800 block S. Holladay: Police assist another agency attempting to locate a runaway.

March 11

9:20 p.m., 1600 block N. Franklin: Police respond to a report of a disturbance that turned out to be verbal in nature only. Both parties agree to separate for the night.

March 12

8:01 a.m., 300 block Avenue A: A person is arrested on a warrant originating from Tillamook County.

2:32 p.m., Police headquarters: A person came in to register as a sex offender.

10:18 p.m., 1500 block N. Wahanna: A person is transported to detox.

March 13

9:02 p.m., 2100 block S. Edgewood: A dog bite is reported.

10:17 p.m., Highway 101 by Relief Pitcher: A person is arrested and charged with Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicants; Reckless Driving, and Reckless Endangerment.

March 14

1:50 p.m., Highway 101 and Fifth Street, Gearhart: A person is charged with reckless driving.

7:46 p.m., 400 block N. Prom: A person is arrested and charged with assault in the fourth degree; strangulation, and menacing.

March 15

3:42 a.m., Broadway: A nicotine-starved subject lurking around the side of a closed business looking for what he called a “butt can” is told to move along.

11:05 a.m., 2200 block S. Roosevelt: A used hypodermic needle found on restaurant property is collected by police.

March 16

1:10 p.m., Chamber restrooms: A couple reported to be asking people for money and following men into the restroom are advised against harassment.

4:32 p.m. Turnaround: Caller reports subject becoming aggressive towards a protester. Police are unable to locate.

5:14 p.m., Turnaround: A person is charged with harassment.

7:22 p.m. Starbucks gravel lot: A subject who was reported as suspicious to police said they’ve become recently homeless and are in fear of being a victim of a crime. Subject cleared and advised of local ordinances.

March 17

3:46 p.m., The Cove: Police assist another agency with a water rescue.

10:49 p.m., N. Wahanna: A person is arrested and charged with interfering with a police officer; resisting arrest; and harassment.

March 18

1:31 p.m., N. Prom: An assault is reported.

10:38 a.m., 2300 block S. Roosevelt: An elderly woman who chased someone into traffic after making accusations her cat was stolen was escorted home. No cat was nabbed.

March 19

6:33 a.m., Broadway Park: Sleeping transients are awakened and advised to move on as children are going to be arriving soon at school.

8:42 a.m., Forest Court: A subject is trespassed after going to a house where they lived for 8 years demanding paperwork proving the sale.

2:38 p.m., Sixth and Necanicum: Police and fire on scene for a small brush fire.

11:18 p.m., 1000 block 24th Avenue: Police are called to intervene over a custody dispute over an animal. Subjects agreed to separate for the evening.

March 20

6:29 a.m., Broadway Park: A transient sleeping in the baseball dug-out was told to move along.

12:45 p.m., Police headquarters: A person came in to register as a sex offender.

10:20 p.m., 800 block S. Holladay: Caller reports someone is in his home. Police responding say it is the man’s wife and she is picking up her belongings and leaving.

March 21

4:27 p.m., 1900 block Spruce Drive: A child reported missing is located with a grandparent
