4:38 a.m., 3000 block of Sunset Boulevard: Anonymous complaint about a vehicle driving without headlights and pulled into a vacant address. Officers made contact. She was warned for unlawful lodging.

4:37 p.m., 300 block of Hillside Loop: Complaint of extremely loud motorcycles, coming and going, speeding in the area. Caller advised to call back when they return. Nearly four hours passed, and there were no additional calls.

7:52 p.m., 1100 block of Broadway: High school athletic director requested officer to respond to skate park for subjects causing a disturbance. Gearhart officer on scene took control of the situation and advised teens to mind their manners.

Sept. 13

9:33 a.m., 200 block of Avenue U: Officer responded to caller request of having a person trespassed. Officer issued trespass notification.

1 p.m., 2400 block of South Edgewood Streeet: Caller reported naked man sitting in his yard. Officers responded and man was warned about frightening passersby.

5:06 p.m., Turnaround: Caller reported people selling things on the beach. Officer responded and warned subject of selling without a business license.

5:44 p.m., Broadway Bridge: Caller reported unruly males bothering citizens. Officers responded and warned them to settle down. Responsible party was picking them up.

6:12 p.m., 1500 block of South Roosevelt Drive: Caller reported trespassed subject on site. Officers responded and assisted subject in leaving the area. Subject was cited and released.

Sept. 14

3:07 a.m., Turnaround: Caller reporting possible unlawful lodgers. Officer contacted subjects, who were just coming off the beach and returning home.

12:30 p.m. 200 block of Broadway: Caller reported man who had been trespassed was bothering clientele. Officers responded and cited person.

8:13 p.m., 24th and Queen streets: Caller reported erratic driver and tailgater. Officers responded and stopped vehicle. Citations issued.

Sept. 15

12:19 a.m., Edgewood Street and Avenue A: Officers located an intoxicated female on the street. They delivered her to a responsible party at her home.

4:11 p.m., 10th Street and the Prom: Officer responded to a report of an intoxicated subject stumbling. Officer contacted the subject, who was intoxicated and heading back to his home for the rest of the night.

10:24 p.m., Avenue S and Roosevelt Drive: Anonymous caller reporting possible drug dealing. Officers contacted subjects, and they agreed to a consent search. No drugs found.

1:31 a.m., 700 block of Third Avenue: 911 caller reporting flashing light in the sky. Officers advised it was lightning.

3:26 a.m., 1800 block of North Columbia Street: Caller reporting a female looking into houses with a flashlight. Officers located and contacted the subject and warned her to stay away from people’s houses.

11:53 p.m., Avenue G: Woman arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants after a traffic stop.

Sept. 17

8:34 a.m., Seaside Chamber of Commerce restrooms: Reports of a suspicious male using Internet at sink and drying personal body parts with hand drier. Officers responded. Subject not under the influence; listening to music from Internet and washing up.

3:04 p.m., 1100 block of Broadway: Caller reported school bus left without child, and child was locked out of school and scared. Officer responded; parent and child reunited prior to officer arrival.

5:05 p.m., Broadway: Caller reported intoxicated subject panhandling, then cursing people when they refuse to give him money. Officer contacted subject and warned him regarding disorderly conduct.

9:02 p.m., 1100 block of South Wahanna Road: Caller reported intoxicated male in her yard acting belligerent. Officers contacted subject and advised him to go home and stay home, or he would be arrested for trespassing.

Sept. 18

12:08 a.m., 1000 block of South Downing Street: Subject called 911 requesting a restraining order. He was contacted by officer. Advised, issue is civil in nature.

1:50 p.m., 1000 Necanicum Drive: Anonymous complaint regarding subject in his van smoking marijuana and intoxicated. Officer made contact with subject, who agreed to a consent search of his vehicle. He was not intoxicated and was rolling tobacco cigarettes. Officer cleared.

9:45 p.m., Avenue G and Edgewood Street: Complaint of fireworks going off on the beach. Officer was in the area and contacted and warned subjects about lighting off mortars.

Sept. 19

11:24 a.m., 700 block of Broadway: Complaint of transient sleeping between fence and building. Officer made contact with subject and warned.

1:59 p.m., 30 block of North Prom: Caller reported child in car with adult for more than two hours. Officer responded and found they were waiting for mother. No problems noted.

5:52 p.m., Fifth Avenue and Downing Street: Officer initiated call; warned for open container.

Sept. 20

12:30 a.m., Broadway and Wahanna Road: Caller reporting someone sleeping on the south side of sidewalk at Broadway and Wahanna Road. Office arrived and warned subject for unlawful lodging. He was also advised of his options.

2:57 p.m., Oceanway and Holladay Drive: Caller reported parking infraction. Officers responded and cited vehicle.

4:11 p.m., 11100 block of North Roosevelt Drive: Caller reported intoxicated male. Officers responded and subject was cited for open container and transported home.

10:43 p.m., Turnaround: Caller reporting intoxicated male wandering toward beach. Officers contacted subject downtown on second call.

Sept. 21

3:25 a.m., Second Avenue: Citation issued for minor in possession of alcohol.

11:38 a.m., Lewis and Clark Road: Caller reporting persons pulling branches and causing traffic hazard. Officer responded and subjects were gone upon arrival.

1:43 p.m., Convention Center Parking Lot: Caller reported altercation over vehicles touching. Officer responded and diffused the situation. All parties left.

11:03 p.m., 400 block of South Roosevelt Drive: Employee of Safeway reporting subjects littering and fighting. Officers contacted and trespassed subjects.

Sept. 22

3:34 a.m., 2400 block of U.S. Highway 101: Caller reporting unwanted subjects in motel room. Officer contacted all parties involved and unwanted subject left.

11:52 a.m., 2700 block of North Roosevelt Drive: Report of transient camp right-hand corner, end of trail. Officer responded and warned party to vacate.

10:51 p.m., Downtown Area: Caller reported possible location of missing daughter in the downtown area. Officer was advised of the information and contacted father.

Sept. 23

2:03 a.m., 2100 block of Lewis and Clark Road: Mother came to Seaside Police Department lobby requesting the assistance of retrieving her daughter at an apartment she was not supposed to be at. Officer assisted, and daughter was returned to her mother.

2:26 p.m., 700 block of Wahanna Road: Caller reported subjects yelling at him from baseball dugout area when he pulled in driveway to turn around. Officers contacted subject and warned them about disorderly conduct. They were told to get a licensed driver and move on.

4:29 p.m., Broadway: Business complaint of street performers playing electric guitar and plugged into amplifier from their vehicle. Officer contacted subjects, who were not blocking the sidewalk, and advised them they if they wanted to use an amplifier, they had to get a permit from City Hall.

7:48 p.m., U.S. Highway 101: Driving complaint relayed from Astoria. Oregon State Police conducted traffic stop on vehicle prior to it arriving in Seaside.

2:03 p.m., 800 block of Avenue M: Officer found dog at large and attempted to return dog home. An open door was found and officer left phone message with owner.

3:48 p.m., 700 block of 14th Avenue: Caller reported person taking pictures of her daughter. Officer responded and talked to complainant and subject. No crime committed.

6:26 p.m., 2500 Mill Creek Lane: Caller reported roommate issues. Officer responded and informed parties that this is a civil issue.

11:31, Third Avenue and the Prom: Report of a male walking down the street, yelling at people, asking if they have meth. Officer searched the area; subject in the area had not heard anything.

Sept. 25

12:52 a.m., 1200 block of Avenue F: Subject reported hearing people in the area threatening that they were going to hurt him. Officer made contact.

12:34 p.m., Southbound on U.S. Highway 101 from Gearhart: Caller reporting slow and erratic driving from vehicle. Officer conducted traffic stop and advised would send to DMV for re-evaluation.

1:26 p.m., Pocket Park: Caller reporting person playing amplified music in the area. Officer contacted subject and advised he was packing up and moving along. He was advised any other further violations would result in a citation.

8:03 p.m., Northbound of South Roosevelt Drive: Officer responded to report of vehicle swerving and breaking. Officer conducted traffic stop and advised driver had taken a wrong turn and was attempting to get turned around.
