Three men were victims of a machete attack early last Wednesday morning at an apartment on Spruce Drive, Seaside Police reported. One victim was transported to a Portland area hospital.

Christopher Boyer, 35, and Gary Gobin, 40, both of Seaside, were arrested at the scene.

Police responded to a disturbance Oct. 7 at 12:30 a.m. on the 1900 block of Spruce Drive, where they found three men who were victims of an assault where a machete and other blunt force weapons were used.

Boyer and Gobin were each charged with two counts of assault, burglary and unlawful use of a weapon.

Police say one of the victims and where he lived was known to one of the assailants.

This was not a random act and police are not searching for more suspects. Names of the victims are not being released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Seaside police at 503-738-6311.
