Dec. 1

1:24 a.m., Avenue A: A child accidentally locked inside a family vehicle while the parents were loading was safely released with help from police.

Dec. 2

12:53 a.m., 800 block Avenue C: A person reported to be screaming at himself was warned of disorderly conduct.

3:38 p.m., Police headquarters: A person came in to register as a sex offender.

4:44 p.m., 1100 block N. Roosevelt: A person is arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.

11:01 p.m., Roosevelt and Avenue S: A person is arrested and charged with DUII.

Dec. 3

8:07 p.m., 400 block Avenue G: A person reported entering a garage “holding something on fire,” turned out to be a person carrying a bowl of steaming pasta.

Dec. 4

11:15 a.m., 1000 block S. Holladay: Caller reports her brother is huffing canned air inside her car. Police say the man handed the can over for disposal. No further action taken.

6:20 p.m., Broadway and Wahanna: A dog that jumped out the window of a car and was roaming around was found and reunited with its owner.

Dec. 5

2:07 a.m., 800 block S. Roosevelt: Seaside police assist Clatsop County Sheriff’s office with a warrant arrest.

Dec. 6

4:22 a.m., 300 block S. Wahanna: A person is arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.

11:43 a.m., 1500 block S. Roosevelt: A dog that wandered into a store on its own was claimed by its owner.

4:56 p.m., Broadway field: A child reported as having been struck by a baseball bat told police he’d been hitting a basketball with the bat and injured himself.

Dec. 7

12:27 p.m., 1200 block S. Roosevelt: Some people selling Christmas trees without a permit are advised and told to move along.

8:45 p.m., Avenue I and Columbia: A person is arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants.

Dec. 8

4:54 p.m., N. Holladay: A dog wandering at large is taken into custody and placed in the kennel.

Dec. 9

11:38 p.m., 400 block Avenue A: A missing person is reported.

Dec. 10

4:11 p.m., Turnaround: A person reported going through garbage wearing a Hulk mask is advised of the complaint and told they are concerning people.

7 p.m., 2200 block N. Roosevelt: A person is arrested and charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, heroin possession, and driving with a revoked or suspended license.

Dec. 11

9:23 a.m., N. Roosevelt: Police respond to a report of two dogs running loose by the Chamber of Commerce building. The owner of the dogs said she had just let them out to relieve themselves; the dog park, quite adjacent, was pointed out to her.

Dec. 12

1:18 a.m., Broadway and Columbia: A minor was arrested and charged with possession of alcohol; there was a second charge of failure to obey traffic laws.

2:52 a.m., Broadway and Columbia: A minor was arrested and charged with possession of alcohol.

Dec. 13

1:50 a.m., Library: A person who set up a sleeping situation for themselves behind the library was warned of unlawful lodging.

4:58 p.m., 400 block S. Roosevelt: A man reported resting under a tarp told police he was fine.
