12:31 a.m., 2100 block S. Franklin: A disturbance is reported.

4:55 p.m., Highway 101 by Bowling Alley: Police assist Gearhart police with a traffic complaint.

11:59 p.m., Second Avenue and Ocean Shores: A disturbance is reported.

March 23

12:21 a.m., 800 block Avenue M: A transient sleeping in an apartment complex stairwell is advised to move along.

3:17 a.m., area of BridgeTender: An intoxicated person sleeping on a bench is given a courtesy ride home.

3:27 a.m., 300 block N. Prom: A person is arrested and charged with assault in the fourth degree; harassment; and contempt of court.

11:12 p.m., Spruce Drive: Police assist another agency with a DUII.

March 24

2:13 a.m., Broadway: An intoxicated male urinating in the street is arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in the second degree.

3:14 p.m., Second and Beach: A woman reported her children missing after being unable to locate them on the beach; they were later found at a hotel and the family was reunited.

4:06 p.m., 1600 block Spruce Drive: A person was arrested for violating a restraining order.

March 25

11:54 a.m., The Cove: Police respond to a call for assistance for a water rescue; upon arrival it was learned no rescue was needed.

9:08 p.m., S. Roosevelt: A person is charged with resisting arrest.

March 26

12:38 a.m., 300 block Fifth Avenue: Two subjects reported to be breaking into a vehicle turned out to own the vehicle. Police advised them to not do mechanical work at this hour to avoid raising suspicion.

11:28 p.m., 300 block S. Columbia: A person is arrested and charged with assaulting and interfering with a police officer, in addition to causing a disturbance.

March 27

6:04 p.m., 1300 block Stillwater: A child reported missing returned home prior to police arrival.

11:46 p.m., 800 block Necanicum: Police responding to a report of a disturbance advise the subjects to separate for the night.

March 28

8:27 a.m., Holladay: A hypodermic needle found in a flower bed is removed by police.

11:05 a.m., Beach and Avenue L: A large pit found dug in the dunes was unoccupied; Public Works is notified to fill it in.

8:05 p.m., Necanicum and Eighth: Caller reports the father of her child pushed her out of a vehicle and took off. All parties are warned of disorderly conduct.

9:04 p.m., Roosevelt: A person is arrested and charged with assault in the fourth degree and harassment.

March 29

7:40 a.m., N. Columbia: A deceased person is reported.

12:49 p.m., 400 block First Avenue: Hypodermic needles found at a work site are collected by police.

2:28 p.m., 500 block Avenue U: Caller said her son found firearm ammunition in their yard. Police secured the ammunition.

March 30

3:18 a.m., Avenue K: An assault is reported.

1:55 p.m., Police headquarters: A person came in to register as a sex offender.

April 1

8:07 a.m., 2100 block S. Edgewood: A person is arrested and charged with assault in the fourth degree; coercion; and harassment.

5:21 p.m., 12th and the Neawanna River: Police respond to reports of a transient leaving items under the bridge. Officers found the items, which were determined to be of no value. The person left prior to police arrival.

8:42 p.m., 1100 block Avenue F: An assault in the fourth degree is reported.

April 2

12:56 a.m. Broadway and Roosevelt: A person is arrested and charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants; reckless driving; and driving with a revoked or suspended license.

8:10 a.m., Avenue A: A black Chihuahua reported running loose remains on the lam. No one can catch it. Police are still trying.

April 3

7:28 a.m., 300 block Eighth Avenue: A person is arrested and charged with arson in the first degree; burglary in the second degree; and criminal mischief in the second degree.

8:07 p.m., Ocean Shore: Police assist Cannon Beach police on a call.

April 4

1:07 a.m., Nordmark Drive: Police assist Clatsop County Sheriff’s office on a call.

12:59 p.m., Police headquarters: A person came in for their annual registration as a sex offender.

10:11 p.m., 1400 block N. Wahanna: Police assist Gearhart police on a warrant arrest. Gearhart police were assisting county police.
