9:57 p.m., 400 block 12th Avenue: A person reported screaming in their apartment is advised of the complaint.

2:34 a.m., Second Avenue: Emergency medical response.

2:51 a.m., Forest Drive: Emergency medical response.

8:24 a.m., 1000 block S. Holladay: A person is arrested on a warrant.

8:33 a.m., Police headquarters: A person came in to register as a sex offender.

12:04 p.m., Alpine Street: A person is arrested on a warrant.

Oct. 19

2:31 a.m., Library: Subject setting up camp on library property is advised to find other accommodations.

5:17 p.m., Prom and Avenue I: Police chase and capture a dog at large; the dog is lodged until its owner is located.

9:33 p.m., 2400 block S. Roosevelt: Caller requests help with a person she says is following her. Police determine this is a brief relationship that didn’t work out. Parties separated. No crime committed.

Oct. 20

6:44 a.m., Ocean Shore: Police checking on a reported unattended fire find a subject awake and enjoying their fire.

6:23 p.m., First and N. Columbia: A disturbance is reported.

6:36 p.m., 400 block 12th Avenue: A disturbance is reported.

9:40 p.m., The Cove: Caller reports subject sitting for hours with a child in their car expresses concern for the child’s welfare.

Oct. 21

2:48 p.m., 2100 block S. Franklin: A code violation was reported.

5:39 p.m., 1300 block Stillwater Court: Successful subpoena service.

Oct. 22

12:53 p.m., 1100 block Second Avenue: Barking dogs are reported in the area. Police on patrol don’t hear any dogs barking.

2:12 p.m., 200 block Second Avenue: Caller reports an aggressive dog. Officer unable to locate.

5:01 p.m., Ninth Avenue: Caller reports father causing a disturbance. Police arrive on scene and determine there is a dispute over property in a storage unit. The mother agrees to escort the son to get his belongings. No further action taken.

7:37 p.m., 12th Avenue: Caller reports man sleeping in bushes. On contact, the man says he’s just getting away from the trailer for a bit.

10:43 p.m., 500 block Avenue A: Police respond to a report of an argument between family members. Arguing parties agree to separate for the evening.

11:51 p.m., 2100 block S. Franklin: Two people having a verbal argument over a civil matter agree to separate for the night.

Road rage

A 64-year-old Seaside man Oct. 24 at 11:14 a.m., reported a road rage incident that happened the day before in Gearhart on U.S. Highway 101 by Pacific Lane. He said he was traveling northbound when a driver in a maroon and primer tan lifted 1990s model Chevy pickup truck began tailgating him. When he pulled over to let the tailgater pass, the driver stopped, got out, and threatened to beat him up. A report was made.
