9:36 p.m., Ocean Shore and Avenue U: Glow reported out in the ocean is determined to be coming from a boat. No further action taken.

10:37 p.m., 300 block S. Wahanna: A person reported to be climbing a ladder outside a residence upon police arrival told police they were trying to get into their own apartment after accidentally locking themselves out.

12:06 p.m., Broadway: Juveniles reported to have lifted an item from a store were not able to be located; the owner of the store was undecided whether or not to pursue the matter.

1:00 p.m. 200 block N. Holladay: An assault was reported.

4:49 p.m., Highway 101 and Old Pine Drive: A subject is arrested on an outstanding warrant.

10:38 p.m., Avenue A and Columbia: Subjects are warned against lying down in the roadway.

8:19 a.m., 800 block Necanicum: A subject is arrested on a warrant.

12:35 p.m., Police headquarters: A wallet left in a taxi is turned into police for safekeeping.

12:34 p.m., Police headquarters: A person came in for their annual sex offender registry.

2:24 p.m., Police headquarters: A person came in to register as a sex offender.

7:30 p.m., 1000 block S. Wahanna: Phone harassment reported.

Jan. 9

10:01 a.m., 1100 block S. Wahanna: A woman who called the police to say a strange man was attempting to enter her home was informed after police spoke with the man that he was there to take pictures because the house was being foreclosed on.

10:46 a.m., Police headquarters: A person came in to register as a sex offender.
