With the term expiration of Bill Carpenter, a seat is vacant on the seven-person Seaside Planning Commission. Carpenter indicated in October he will not seek reappointment.
The Planning Commission is to recommend to the City Council and other public authorities plans for regulating the future growth, development and beautification of the city. The commission meets at least once monthly, with meetings scheduled the first and third Tuesday of the month.
The term of office is four years. The commission consists of chairman David Board chairman Chris Hoth, vice chairman David Posalski and commissioners Jon Wickersham, Robin Montero, Louis Neubecker and Teri Carpenter fill the remaining positions.
