Gearhart dentist Doctor Stephanie White said her Halloween candy buy-back program was a success and she plans to hold another buy-back next year.

Gulls defeat Astoria soccer team in shootout

In the most exciting game for the Gulls all season long, Seaside defeated arch-rival Astoria  3-2 Tuesday night Nov. 3 in a game that decided the top seed in the state playoffs. Because of the Gulls victory, they will get home field advantage when they play their first state playoff game next Tuesday. Astoria will have to travel to Central Catholic for their game.

Cemetery fix-up in the works

Following the death and burial of long-time Seaside businessman Bud Ter Har earlier this year, his family noticed that the graveyard where Ter Har was laid to rest needed attention.
